Didn't provide bicycle, toiletries, adapter and breakfast. We have to fold the pillow case and bedsheets ourselves.

They did not have 24 hour service desk, if you need to be there after 10:00 pm, you should contact them.

the hostel was fabulous. The only unpleasant experience was the day tour to taroko. This is not the hostel's fault. They have provided us the details before we commit the tours which covers the places we want to go and I think the details comes from the tour service provider they contacted. Unfortunately, when the tour service provider delivers the service, they do not actually cover many of the places they claimed to cover. There were a few of us from different hostels and they were equally surprised with the discrepancies. We asked the driver and he says that there were closures to these places which we do not think so.

The location is good.

The room has no window and lack of air. Not so clean and very hard to put on the sheet for the bed. Apart from that it's a simple place with a very nice woman who runs the place. It's not a place to meet people

Organized facility, kind and helpful staff, delicious tea, a great self-service and trusting feeling overall.

If you stay in the large bunk room on the first floor, it can be a little noisy. I would also recommend some signs in the bathroom to instruct shower-takers to turn the faucet back to the non-shower setting - I got sprayed by the shower nozzle a few times when I was expecting the water to come out of the sink... but this is entirely the fault of the silly boys that shared the room with us, and not the hostel, of course!

Clean hostel, comfortable bed, I only stayed for 1 night so I cannot comment much on the facilities, but seems pretty good overall. Beside each bunk bed, there is a night light and electrical socket. Note that the reception staff is not there all the time so you may need a phone to call them to check in.

The female dorm I stayed didn't have a window, would have been great if there was one!

Comfy bed mad clean, simple, very good wifi, good location...

Comfy bed mad clean, simple, very good wifi, good location (10min walking from main station - 10min walking from the city center), well-equiped, and wonderful Taroko!

Poor english (thank you google translate), absent staff, not often do the bathroom but still clean.

The owner was really great, she was kind and helpful.

The owner was really great, she was kind and helpful. She gave us maps for eating around hualien and suggested some places to go look around. For the toroko trip she let us use her computer to look at the park's page because she told us that many of the trails were closed because the typhoon and she wanted she didnt want us to lose our time.
